[2E10【招待講演】]Mechanical exfoliation of two-dimensional materials using adhesive tape

*Momoko Onodera1 (1. IIS, Univ. of Tokyo (Japan))
Mechanical exfoliation using adhesive tape is a simple and widely used method for preparing two-dimensional materials such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides. This talk introduces the basic process of adhesive tape-based exfoliation, including cleavage of layered crystals, transfer of thin flakes onto a substrate, and practical points in sample preparation. The method is outlined as a basic approach for preparing atomically thin samples for surface, interface, and materials studies.
