[2P26]Origin of Non-Markovianity in Current Noise of Carbon Nanotubes

Mesoscopic physics explores quantum phenomena through electron transport at the nanoscale. One key effect is current noise, which becomes prominent at this scale and reveals important physical insights. A previous study on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) showed that power spectral density (PSD) of phonon-induced current noise follows a Lorentzian distribution and exhibits high-frequency peaks that are attributed to resonance with specific phonon modes. In this study, to verify this interpretation, I redeveloped the OpenTDSE+MD simulator by replacing the conventional Tersoff potential with an Einstein phonon model that excludes these intrinsic phonon modes.
