Li ion intercalation kinetics at a lithium manganese oxide thin-film electrode was elucidated in highly concentrated electrolytes using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, revealing that the reaction rate was dominated by the activity (chemical potential) of Li ion and electrolyte viscosity.
