Collaborative Research Promotion Event of MMPE traditionally encourages participants to develop personal friendships, exchange cultural experiences, and share potential information and insights for future research collaborations in a casual atmosphere.

Every collaborative research promotion event has introduced participants to the fascinating culture of the host country as well as reseach inspirations.

Shimane Prefecture has a rich history and culture that has been passed down since mythical times, and Izumo Taisha shrine is famous as a place where deities from all over Japan gather for a conference in November, and as a matchmaking shrine, too.

We hope you will nurture friendships and international exchange in this mysterious and beautiful environment.
