[S25]Meeting "Clinical Needs" with "Basic Research" -Challenge for Future Medical Care by Collaboration of Medical Practice and Basic Research-
Thu. Mar 27, 2025 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM JST
Thu. Mar 27, 2025 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM UTC
Thu. Mar 27, 2025 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM UTC
Room 18 (MARINE MESSE FUKUOKA Hall B: Conference Room2-2 [2F])
Organizer: Atsushi Uchida (Dept. Pharm., Yamanashi Univ Hosp.), Mitsuhiro Goda (Grad. Sch. Biomed. Sci., Tokushima Univ.)
In clinical practice, issues and questions arise that are oriented towards the provision of higher-quality medical care and the resolution of these issues is expected. To solve these clinical problems, findings from basic research are expected to serve as the "foundation" and a starting point for solutions.
This symposium focuses on resolving clinical issues through basic research. Researchers actively engaged at the forefront of medical practice and academia will present their research cases and initiatives aimed at solving clinical challenges. These presentations will incorporate approaches, experiences, and the latest findings from their respective perspectives and positions. Furthermore, the symposium aims to share know-how on addressing clinical issues by merging the clinical perspectives from the medical field and the scientific and logical thinking of academic researchers and discussing future prospects.
We hope that this symposium will lead to the fostering of pharmacist-scientists with the ability to solve clinical questions, and it will help the development of new medical care.
