Sat. Mar 29, 2025 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM JST
Sat. Mar 29, 2025 11:30 PM - 1:00 AM UTC
Room 17 (MARINE MESSE FUKUOKA Hall B: Conference Room2-1 [2F])
Organizer: Hirofumi Jono (Dept. Pharm. Sci., Kumamoto Univ. Hosp.), Masamitsu Maekawa (Dept. Pharm. Sci., Tohoku Univ. Hosp.)
Clinical chemistry is a field that aims to contribute to the elucidation of pathology, as well as to treatment and prevention, while also providing clinical chemistry testing based on analytical technology to the medical field. In the field of pharmacy, the latest knowledge and concepts of clinical chemistry based on clinical testing are also becoming indispensable for implementing appropriate drug therapy in clinical practice, including therapeutic drug monitoring using drug blood concentrations and clinical test values, personalized medicine based on recent genomic analysis information, and the development of markers for predicting the therapeutic effects of drugs through omics analysis using mass spectrometry technology.
In this symposium, we will be discussing the latest research results in the field of clinical chemistry, including knowledge and concepts, and various molecular analysis techniques, with the aim of contributing to the medical field. We would like to discuss the potential for integrating clinical chemistry and pharmacy, which is essential for the effective practice of diagnosis and drug therapy, by providing the latest findings on the development of biomarkers that are useful for early diagnosis, stratification, and the detection of adverse drug reaction, with the title of "Personalized Medical Innovation through Collaboration between Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Chemistry".
