[S51]Experiences of young researchers in developing their research color: the example of a DDS researcher

Sat. Mar 29, 2025 3:15 PM - 4:45 PM JST
Sat. Mar 29, 2025 6:15 AM - 7:45 AM UTC
Room 17 (MARINE MESSE FUKUOKA Hall B: Conference Room2-1 [2F])
Organizer: Teruki Nii (Faculty of Engineering, Kyushu University), Honda Yuto (Lab. for Chem. and Life Sci., Science Tokyo)
In this symposium, the audience is assumed to be doctoral students aspiring to academia and young researchers working for less than a few years after obtaining their degrees. The symposium will feature young researchers who have established their research color and are promoting their research as symposium speakers. As an organizer, I had no idea how to produce myself after obtaining my degree, and I wanted to hear about the experiences of those who have gone before me. Therefore, we will have young researchers who have created their unique research color give a lecture not only on their research results but also on their experiences leading up to that point. This time, we planned a symposium that transcended the boundaries of the faculty to which they belong. Dr. Hitoshi Maeda (Kumamoto University) and Dr. Kosuke Kusamori (Tokyo University of Science) from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Dr. Yuji Honda (Institute of Science Tokyo) and Dr. Takahiro Nomoto (The University of Tokyo) from the Faculty of Engineering are invited to talk about their research and the experiences that led to the creation of their ideas. We believe that the presentations by the two symposiasts from the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Engineering will be relevant to a wide range of audiences.
