An ionospheric storm is studied with the GPS data from the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC) on October 24-25, 2011. The China region is divided into three latitude zones, which are the higher latitude zone (50oN), mid-latitude zone (40oN), and the lower latitude zone (30oN). There is a weak positive ionospheric storm at lower latitudes during 0-4:00 UT on October 25, but there is no obvious TEC enhancement after noontime. For the mid-latitude zone, a strong positive ionospheric storm occurred during the whole day of October 25. For higher latitude zones, a weak positive ionospheric storm is observed in the afternoon of October 25, but there is no TEC enhancement at noontime. Therefore, this ionospheric storm event has a strong impact on the mid-latitudes, while it has a weak impact in the morning and noon at lower latitudes, and only in the afternoon at higher latitudes.
