This study introduces SMART LiDAR, an advanced scanning system for real-time wildfire and industrial fire detection. It addresses limitations of traditional methods caused by atmospheric variability and complex terrain, offering <30 m spatial resolution and adaptability to diverse environments. Using dual wavelengths (532 nm, 1064 nm), it provides 360° scanning with 1° resolution, detecting smoke and particulates in real time. Field validation during a factory fire in Sihwa Industrial Complex, South Korea, tracked a 5 km smoke plume and observed particulate reduction after suppression, demonstrating effective real-time monitoring.
