IUGONET is an inter-university collaborative project established in 2009 for the purpose of promoting the comprehensive analysis on solar terrestrial physics. In September 2024, a commemorative workshop was held to summarize the past activities and discuss the future. Metadata is very important for handling a wide variety of data. We adopted the Space Physics Archive Search and Extract (SPASE) model as a metadata. It is a standardized model for heliophysics, and our proposed elements have been incorporated. Our one-stop web service, called IUGONET Type-A, is compatible with SPASE 2.6. It means that not only observation data but also simulation data can be handled on our system. Assigning DOIs to research data is the foundation of open science, which aims to provide data and information that is easily accessible to all people. With the cooperation of the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), we have established a pathway to assign DOIs to research data registered in IUGONET. Building the analytical infrastructure is another important part of our work. We have developed plug-in software for Space Physics Environment Data Analysis Software (SPEDAS) to facilitate the analysis of data registered in IUGONET. In addition, we developed MATLAB and Python-based software, which is available from github.
