Period of abstract submission opened

3rd August 2026 to 14 September 2026 (at 12:00 Japan Standard Time)

Eligibility requirements

  • In principle, presenters must be regular or student members of the Japanese Radiation Research Society (JRRS) or Japan Health Physics Society (JHPS) (members of the Japanese Society of Radiation Safety Management are also eligible to apply). Those who are not yet members are requested to complete the membership application process.
    This requirement does not apply to non-member invited speakers for symposiums and workshops.
  • In principle, each presenter is limited to one presentation across all sessions of the conference.
    If there are unavoidable circumstances requiring multiple presentations, please consult the conference secretariat in advance.
  • In addition to abstract submission, presenters must register to attend the Joint Conference of the 69th Annual Meeting of the JRRS and the 59th Annual Meeting of the JHPS.
  • Please check the respective society's website for information regarding membership application.

Presentation style

  • You may choose between an oral presentation and a poster presentation.
  • Please note that if there is a large number of submissions, the Program Committee may need to make adjustments, and it may not be possible to accommodate your preference.

General topics

When registering your presentation, please select the topic that best fits your talk from the options below.
We set up an "International Session" to aim to provide opportunities for early-career researchers and international students to present in English and to solicit presentations from abroad, thereby fostering networking opportunities for all participants, not just early-career researchers.
Please note that those who are not scheduled as speakers at present cannot be selected for joint symposia or the symposia and workshops organized by the JRRS and JHPS.

Publication of Abstracts and Handling of Copyright

  • Please note that abstracts will be made publicly available after the conference through services such as J-GLOBAL and Ichushi-Web; kindly prepare and submit your abstract with the understanding that public disclosure is a condition of submission.
  • The copyright of the abstract belongs to the JRRS. Reproduction without the Society's permission is prohibited.
  • However, the copyright of the content presented on the day of the conference belongs to the presenter.

When presenting, you are required to disclose any conflicts of interest in accordance with the society's regulations. Please check here for details.

Registration of abstract

  • All abstract submissions must be made online via this website.
  • You will be required to create an account when submitting an abstract for the first time. Please keep a record of your login ID and password; you are responsible for managing these credentials. Please note that, for security reasons, we cannot respond to any inquiries regarding login IDs or passwords.
  • At this joint conference, submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee. The organizing secretariat will notify you of the acceptance or rejection of your submission via e-mail.
  • You may view, edit, or cancel your registered abstract as many times as you wish until the submission deadline. To view, edit, or cancel your abstract, please log in to the abstract submission system using the login ID and password obtained during registration.

Instruction to registration and abstract preparation

  1. Author and Affiliation Information
    Please enter the author's name (English) and affiliation (English).
    Select the appropriate affiliation number in the author section to link the author to their affiliation.
    You may register up to 20 authors and 30 affiliations.
  2. Topic
    Please refer to the above and select the appropriate general topics.
    Registration for joint symposia or individual society symposia/workshops is limited to those who have been already scheduled as speakers.
  3. Preferred presentation style
    Please select from "Oral presentation," "Poster presentation," or "Either."
  4. Presentation Language
    Please select "English."
  5. Presentation title
    Title (English): Max. 30 words
  6. Abstract (Main Text)
    Abstract (English): Max. 250 words
    Do not include the presentation title, affiliations, author names, figures, or tables within the abstract text.

Other notes regarding abstract submission

  • Please check the system's login screen for information regarding recommended browsers for the abstract submission system. Even when accessing the system via a recommended environment, you may still be unable to submit your abstract depending on your specific computer setup; if this occurs, please attempt to submit your abstract using a different computer.
  • Network traffic is expected to be extremely heavy just before the submission deadline, so please submit your abstract well in advance. The Secretariat accepts no responsibility for any submission issues resulting from network congestion.
  • The Secretariat accepts no responsibility for errors made by the submitter during data entry. Please be sure to verify the accuracy of all information before clicking the submission button.
  • The personal information you provide will not be used for any purpose other than the operational preparations for this event. Furthermore, we will manage your personal information strictly, implementing appropriate security measures.
