We have developed highly-oriented J-aggregates of nonionic dyes and their optoelectronic properties have been investigated. We have already confirmed the local formation of J-aggregates in bisazo dye 1. In this study, we investigate another bisazo dye (dye 2) which differs from dye 1 only in the end group.
