Metal additive manufacturing technology is becoming popular in the industrial community because of its ability to provide a stable supply of parts in a short period of time with a high degree of design freedom. In this session, the current status of the development of metal additive manufacturing technology and specific efforts will be introduced, and the possibility of its application to structural materials for energy plants will be discussed.
