The Kindai University Reactor (UTR-KINKI) is an educational and training reactor, and is used by many universities for student experiments and reactor training. However, students have limited time to actually come to Kindai University and participate in on-site training, and it is sometimes difficult for them to fully understand the content of the training. Therefore, in this study, a reactor operation simulator that can simulate the neutron dynamics of the reactor and implements control sequences similar to those of the reactor was developed. We have confirmed that the simulator can reproduce operation practice of UTR-KINKI, and we expect that students will deepen their understanding of the contents of the training by using the simulator for prior learning.
