[2B_PL01]Robotics for Estimation of Radiation Sources

*Yusuke Tamura1 (1. Tohoku Univ.)
Following the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, attempts have been made to obtain more detailed radiation information in the surrounding area by mounting radiation detectors on robots and carrying out multiple measurements while changing the measurement position of the detector. In these studies, knowledge of radiation detectors and robotics is essential. In this session, we will focus on robotics and radiation detectors, and feature various fundamental technologies and examples of their use in the case of source location identification and dose distribution monitoring.
