Thermal effect analysis of metal vapor is important because metal vapor generated during the High Energy Arcing Faults (HEAF) causes significant thermal damage to its surroundings. However, it is difficult to model due to complexity of HEAF phenomenon. Then, based on the HEAF test using an alternative of electric equipment, the HEAF explosion simulation from an electric equipment with copper bus bar was proposed using a thermal fluid analysis code in previous research. In this study, we evaluated the applicability of the HEAF explosion model for aluminum bus bar using previous analysis model.
