HEAT is [a] software for calibrating and visualizing [the] data from thermal imagers on
Hayabusa2, Hera, and RAMSES, which are deep space missions. HEAT was originally
developed by Endo [et al.] (2017), and its functions have been [improved and] expanded. However, the size of HEAT has been too large for the current small team to manage. So, the current HEAT has been divided into [three] modules [according to] each function. In addition, the development language has been migrated from C++ to Python due to the demand from the science team. This study has developed HEAT_LIGHT as a part of this initiative. The Conversion function with CUI characterizes this module. HEAT_LIGHT has been verified by comparing the output of this study and sample code using cosine similarity. Further updates will bring enhancement of usability.
