"The United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (UNDOS)" is an initiative aimed at accelerating efforts to achieve SDG Goal 14, "Life Below Water," across countries. As 2025 marks the fifth year, the halfway point of this initiative, we aim to further raise awareness and deepen engagement among the domestic scientific community and the general public. This session, structured around invited talks related to UNDOS, will feature experts from various fields presenting the latest scientific programs, social implementations, marine literacy initiatives, and activities for nurturing the next generation. Following the invited talks, a comprehensive discussion will take place, providing a forum to review past progress and discuss future perspectives, including international collaboration.
