We have attempted to measure the thermal conductivity of Mg2Si thermoelectric materials under high pressure. Until now, due to the structure of the high-pressure cell, thermoelectric performance under high pressure has been limited to the measurement of the Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity. This time, we modified the high-pressure cell so that the thermal conductivity can be measured at the same time, and performed the measurement.
As a result, we succeeded in obtaining the phase difference parameters necessary to determine the thermal conductivity. However, since it is difficult to obtain all the parameter values under high pressure, the values at ambient pressure were used for this purpose, and the calculation results were reasonable compared to the results of the theoretical calculations that were performed in parallel.
