We aim to develop a solar-pumped membrane laser using a perovskite semiconductor CH3NH3PbI3. Perovskite thin films of 500 nm thickness formed by vapor-phase deposition on a non-reflective coated sapphire substrate were bonded to each other and sealed on the sides. As a result, no decrease in luminescence intensity was observed at a pumping light intensity of 800 W/cm2 at a wavelength of 532 nm, and a transmittance of about 90 % was obtained at a wavelength of 788 nm, which is longer than the band gap.
