This study aims to enhance the transmittance of a plasmonic bull's eye structure (BE) by proposing a concave conical shape for BE, which is conventionally flat. Numerical analysis suggests that the transmittance of the conical BE is 155% higher than that of a planar BE with the same number of grooves (six) and 22% higher than that of a planar BE with the same device area (ten grooves).
