In order to apply the cellular automaton method to the calculation of the drift velocity of a two-dimensional electron gas, it is necessary to take into account the anisotropy of the effective mass on the conduction plane. Using a polar coordinate system for the wavenumber space mesh, we investigated the effect of the number of angular divisions on the calculation results of the drift velocity.
