"Quantum chemistry" is a specialized subject in the second or third year of science and engineering chemistry departments, and students are required to have basic knowledge of linear algebra.In this lecture, I presented the main points of teaching the theory and calculation of the Hückel approximation LCAO method as a problem of finding the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a symmetric matrix.
