In this presentation, as the first step towards achieving effective training of machine maintenance engineers by the vocational training, the current situation and challenges in training machine maintenance engineers will be described from the perspectives of educational engineering and polytechnic science, solutions to these challenges will be presented, and new vocational training curricula will be considered and proposed.
