[VS09]Analyzing Factors Associated with the Desire for Reskilling among Adult Learners

To clarify the factors determining adult learners' desire for reskilling, this study compared non-learners with and without motivation. Results revealed that the motivated group excels in self-regulated learning strategies and coaching skills, but they are extremely busy with core tasks. Since environmental barriers showed no significant difference between the two groups, providing organizational support enabling motivated individuals to execute learning is urgently needed over raising awareness.
