This study introduces a novel method, the Knowledge Structure Pyramid (KSP), focusing on the structuring of knowledge in a compulsory first-year seminar course at the Faculty of Engineering and Design, Kagawa University. The purpose is to enhance students’ understanding and knowledge retention through the visualization of structured knowledge. The paper reports on the educational practice and demonstrates the potential effectiveness of KSP in improving learning outcomes.
