This paper reports on the launch of a regional problem-solving training program for senior engineers in a technology leader development course. Through interviews and fieldwork with local stakeholders, participants identified regional issues and proposed solutions. The results indicate high learning impact, especially in applied interviewing and cross-sector collaboration, while also highlighting areas for curriculum improvement.
