This paper analyzes the educational effects of the 2025 Student International Engineering Training Program conducted by the School of Engineering and the Graduate School of Engineering at Tohoku University. Evaluated from a first-year participant's perspective, this Canadian program fostered unscripted communication, applied engineering insights, and proactive mindsets. Such early overseas exposure is vital for enhancing learning motivation and broadening global perspectives.
