We launched a hands-on Python course for 1st/2nd-year undergraduates, positioning generative AI as a problem-solving and planning tool rather than just a code generator. Students first used AI to tackle various system challenges, learning "what is possible." They then moved to a system planning and design project, freely ideating "what to create." This paper introduces the course structure and implementation.
