By utilizing cleaning water with a high hydrogen dissolution rate, generated by aerating hydrogen gas into purified water, we effectively removed contaminants from the lens surface while reducing the risk of latent scratches. This shows that the use of dissolved hydrogen water could potentially mitigate scratching issues across various materials, addressing a long-standing challenge in the optical industry.
