[2F09]Nanoscale study of electronic states and transport properties on (Tl, Pb)/Si(111)

Various exotic phenomena, such as superconductivity with Rashba spin splitting, have been reported on Tl–Pb monolayers on Si(111) driven by strong spin–orbit coupling and broken inversion symmetry. Meanwhile, it has also been reported that some surface reconstructions, such as the √3×√3 and 4×4 phases, coexist in this system. Here in this study, we investigate electronic and transport properties in nanometer scales under varying structural conditions.
