This study investigates the effects of metal deposition on the surface of Pb(111) and their impact on superconductivity. Depositing Bi resulted in a large decrease in Tc while Li incorporation led to a slight reduction in Tc. These findings suggest that surface alloy formation and the nature of the deposited elements have complex influences on surface superconductivity. The results provide new insights into the modulation of superconductivity at surfaces, which could inform the design and understanding of surface superconducting materials.
