Terms and agreements for Speakers at our spring or fall conference.

If you have registered as a speaker in any session at this conference, you are considered to have agreed to Declaimer and Terms for Speakers, Guidelines for Quotation, and Notes for Participation and Presentation.

Important points for Oral-presentation registration

(1) Oral-presentation's registration qualification

General Session's Presentations

Presenters must be regular members of our society at the time of presentation registration. Alternatively, at least one co-author must be a regular member at the time of presentation registration.

Theme Session's Presentations

Presenters may be either members or non-members.

Student Presentations

※Registration with student authors only is not permitted.

When registering a presentation, you must include at least one regular member as a co-author and obtain your advisor's approval of the content before registering.
If any issues arise with the registration information, please consult your advisor in the same manner.

(3) Oral-presentation's time.

Speakers should strictly adhere to their allotted presentation time as follows:

  • General session : 20 minutes as follows
    •  Presentation's time:15minutes, Q & A time :5 minutes
      Mining and underground construction machineries / Rock Engineering / Resource based economy and social system /Mining technologies / Mineral processing / Recycling / Environment
    • Presentation's time:12minutes, Q & A time:8 minutes
      Hydrometallurgy / High-temperature materials processing / New materials
  • Theme session : Depends on the session
  • Announcement of elapsed time

On the day of the lecture, the hall attendant will ring one bell one minute before the end of the lecture, two bells at the end of the lecture, and three bells at the end of the Q&A session to announce the end of the lecture.

 

(4) Oral-presentation's registration period (until 12:00 noon Japan time).

  1. Presentation Registration: Monday, April 27, 2026, at noon – Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at noon (Japan time)

  2. Submission of Manuscripts for Online Proceedings: Thursday, June 18, 2026, at noon – Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at noon (Japan time)

 

(5) Oral-presentation's  registration items

Please enter the following information in the online registration system and submit it.

  1. Presentation Information:
    Title
    Names of all authors, institutional affiliations, and MMIJ membership status 
    Abstract (Maximum of 300 words)
    Keywords   *Up to 5 keywords
    Whether the presenter is a “student” or “non-student”
  2. Proceedings:
    Please use the manuscript template to create a manuscript containing only the main text, and upload the resulting PDF file via the web system.
    # The manuscript template for this conference is currently being prepared. We will post it as soon as it is finalized.
    # Please note that this is different from the PowerPoint presentation to be used on the day of the presentation.



  3. Finally, Convert your proceedings to PDF file and upload.

    #The PDF files of the manuscripts uploaded will be reviewed by the committee.
    The committee may request revisions depending on its judgment.
