Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentations
Date and Time
- March 19 (Wed.): 13:00–17:00 (Entry from 12:00)
- March 20 (Thu.): 09:00–12:00 (Entry from 08:15)
- March 21 (Fri.): 09:00–12:00 (Entry from 08:15)
Venue
Sendai International Center – Conference Building & Exhibition Building (Rooms 1–10)
Note: There is no Room 6 for numbering consistency with ISWST2025. Only in-person presentations are allowed.
How to Read Presentation Numbers
Example: A19-10-0945
- (1) Presentation Category (e.g., A → Wood anatomy, wood formation and tissue culture)
- (2) Presentation Date (e.g., 19 → March 19)
- (3) Venue (e.g., 10 → Room 10)
- (4) Presentation Time (e.g., 0945 → Starts at 09:45)
Important Notes for Oral Presentations
Proxy Presentations
Proxy presentations are not allowed unless the designated presenter (marked with "〇" in the abstract) is present.
Presentation Time and Flow
- Each presentation is allotted 15 minutes (presentation, discussion, and transition included).
- Time signals:
- 1st bell: 10 minutes (2 minutes remaining)
- 2nd bell: 12 minutes (end of presentation)
- 3rd bell: 15 minutes (end of discussion) - Check-in at least 30 minutes before the scheduled presentation.
- Arrive at the next-presenter seat at least 15 minutes before your presentation.
Equipment and Setup
- LCD projectors will be used.
- Bring your own computer. The presenter or co-author should operate it.
- Only HDMI connections are available. Bring your own adapter if needed (VGA, USB-C, etc.).
- For stable HDMI output, lower screen resolution if noise or flickering occurs.
- Resolutions above 4K (2160p) at 60Hz may be unstable.
Poster Presentations
Venue
Sendai International Center – Exhibition Hall, Room 2
Note: The ISWST2025 poster session will be held in Conference Building, Room "Sakura." Only in-person presentations are allowed.
Schedule
- March 19 (Wed.)
- 08:15 – Venue opens, poster setup begins
- 09:00 – Poster presentation session starts
- 09:30–10:30 – Odd-numbered presenters
- 10:30–11:30 – Even-numbered presenters
- 12:00 – Poster session ends (posters remain displayed until 17:00)
- 17:00 – Poster removal completed, venue closes
How to Read Poster Numbers
Example: A19-P-12
- (1) Presentation Category (e.g., A → Wood anatomy, wood formation and tissue culture)
- (2) Presentation Date (e.g., 19 → March 19)
- (3) Venue (e.g., P → Poster Hall)
- (4) Presentation Number (e.g., 12 → Poster No. 12)
Note: The last digit determines whether you present in the odd- or even-numbered session.
Poster Display Area
- Each poster panel: 90 cm (W) × 210 cm (H).
- A0 or A0+ (oversized A0) format is recommended.
- Push pins will be provided. Adhesive tape is not allowed.
Recording and Photography Policy
Recording, photography, and video recording of oral and poster presentations are strictly prohibited unless permission is granted by the presenter.
