Bilayers containing a ferromagnetic (FM) and nonmagnetic (NM) layers with strong spin-orbit interaction can be suitable way to study the spin pumping through ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) measurement. In spin-pumping, spin current is injected from FM to NM layer, and is quantified by spin mixing conductance (g). Recent research has focused on studying spin pumping in FM/NM bilayers using high spin polarized Heusler materials due to their low Gilbert damping (α). We assessed the value of off-stoichiometric Co2FeGa0.5Ge0.5 (CFGG) due to the observed low reported α.
