We propose a method to directly measure the intrinsic term of anomalous Nernst coefficient (SANE) of a magnetic material and probe its anomalous Nernst conductivity (ANC) with ease. This method is realized by creating a closed circuit consisting of the target magnetic material and a nonmagnetic conductor. From the expression of total transverse thermopower of a closed circuit, we find that the extrinsic term of SANE of the magnetic material can be cancelled out due to the connection to the nonmagnetic conductor under proper conditions, leaving only the intrinsic term dominating SANE. Then ANC can be easily obtained using the total transverse thermopower and resistivity. The proposed method is experimentally demonstrated to probe the temperature dependence of ANC of a Co2MnGa thin film. The closed circuit is easily realized by connecting both ends of the Co2MnGa film with a Au bonding wire, which is the nonmagnetic conductor. A good approximation is obtained, validating this method.
