Photopigment degradation in the leaf directly impacts the quality of the leaf over time during storage. The present study employs time dependant Uv- vis spectroscopic analysis for analysis of the nature of the leaf during storage. In this study, 4 different plants containing different medicinal properties were used. The leaf samples were stored at room temperature to study the nature of the leaf and its chemical compounds during storage.
