[S-10-2]MRgFUS lesioning of the subthalamic nucleus in Japan

Yuta Kajiyama, MD, PhD is currently an Associate Professor/Lecturer in the Department of Neurology at Kawasaki Medical School. My expertise includes movement disorders, rehabilitation and electrophysiology, with a special focus on Parkinson's disease (PD) and neuromodulation techniques using fMRI, fNIRS and EEG.
After graduating from Osaka University School of Medicine in 2010, I started my career in neurology. I continued my Ph.D. studies at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Mochizuki Laboratory (2017-2021), and then contributed to clinical trials on MRgFUS lesioning for subthalamic nucleus in Japan.
I am an active member of Japanese Society of Neurology, Movement Disorder Society (MDS), Movement Disorder Society Japan (MDSJ), Japanese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, and the Guideline Committee for Parkinson's Disease.
