In order to achieve a sustainable society, there is a global need to balance the securing of the energy necessary for stability and development with the carbon neutrality of society. In this lecture, we will organize the issues involved in achieving sustainable nuclear power use, and propose a fuel cycle with actinide management as a countermeasure. In order to achieve social implementation, it is essential to set an appropriate technology readiness level (TRL), and we will explain the overall picture of the research and processes being carried out based on such considerations.
