The second edition of the Handbook of Advanced Hydrogen Safety Measures in Nuclear Power summarizes the contents of the Integrated Hydrogen Behavior Analysis System, which enables detailed analysis of the behavior of hydrogen generated during severe accidents in PWR containment vessels, and related findings. In order to deepen the understanding of the latest hydrogen safety, which reflects the compliance with the new regulatory standards and voluntary safety improvement after the Fukushima accident, this Handbook includes many examples of hydrogen generation accidents and hypothetical behaviors mainly in the CV of PWRs. The summary is presented in this presentation.
