Experiments, modeling, and numerical work are being conducted organically with the goal of enabling a two-phase flow CFD-based reactor design. This presentation will give one of the action items of this project, the numerical analysis of the void fraction distribution during subcooled flow boiling using the two-phase flow CFD.
