Seismic diversity for multiplexed equipment within a building can significantly reduce seismic risk. However, evaluating its effectiveness requires assessing various seismic motions based on seismic hazard evaluations, which makes improving evaluation efficiency a critical issue. The authors (2022) proposed a simplified evaluation method using the spectral modal analysis method. However, Yasui et al.'s floor response spectrum calculation method, used in this approach, had accuracy challenges. This paper reports on a study that uses AI to improve the precision of Yasui et al.'s calculations, addressing these challenges and enhancing the accuracy of the floor response spectrum calculation.
