In sodium-cooled fast reactors, cesium compounds released into the environment during severe accidents are considered to take the form of aerosols. In the evaluation of source terms during severe accidents, it is crucial to accurately assess the migration of radioactive materials. To precisely predict and evaluate the migration behavior of cesium, the processes from aerosol generation to environmental release were classified into growth, aggregation, and deposition. This study focused on examining the growth process of aerosols immediately after their release from the fuel.
