Visa Information for APSORC25 Participants
Welcome to the 7th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Radiochemistry (APSORC25).
If you are traveling from overseas, please review the following visa information carefully.
Do You Need a Visa to Enter Japan?
Citizens of approximately 70 countries and regions are eligible for visa exemption for short-term stays (up to 90 days).
Please check the latest list of visa-exempt countries on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website.
If your country is not on the visa exemption list, you will need to apply for a Short-Term Stay Visa (for attending conferences).
Visa Support for APSORC25 Participants via JTB (Japan Travel Bureau)
If you require a visa to enter Japan for APSORC25, please follow the steps below.
Visa arrangements are being handled by JTB corp. on behalf of the organizing committee.
1.Notify the Scientific Secretary of APSORC25
If you are a foreign researcher and require a visa to attend APSORC25, please submit your information using the following GOOGLE form:

Required information in the format is:

- Full name (as shown in your passport)
- Nationality
- Affiliation (institution or organization)
- Abstract submission number
The secretary will compile a list of visa applicants and share it with JTB with the utmost confidentiality.
2. Contact from JTB
JTB will reach out to you via email to collect the remaining required information and begin the visa support process.
You will work directly with JTB to complete all necessary procedures.
JTB will provide the required documents and guidance for your visa application.
Visa Support Fee
- The visa support service provided by JTB costs ¥16,500 JPY per person (including tax).
- This fee must be paid by the applicant directly to JTB.
- Payment instructions will be provided by JTB during the visa support process.
Important Notes
- Please note that your registration and payment must be completed before we begin the visa application process.
Without these, we are unable to proceed. - Visa support is only available to registered participants of APSORC25.
- Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay.
- The scientific secretary of APSORC25 and JTB cannot guarantee visa issuance. Final decisions are made by the Japanese embassy or consulate in your country.
