Introduction of APSORC25
We are pleased to announce that the 7th Asia-Pacific Symposium On RadioChemistry (APSORC25) which will be held in Matsue, Shimane, Japan, from Sunday, September 14 to Friday, September 19, 2025.
APSORC25 will provide an international platform for presentation and discussion of recent advances and emerging topics in radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, and their applications across various scientiic and industrial fields. The symposium aims to promote academic activities in those fields among researchers, engineers, and students from universities, research institutes, and industries worldwide.

Venue
APSORC25 will be held at Kunibiki Messe in the scenic city of Matsue, located in Shimane Prefecture, Japan.
Known as the "City of Water," Matsue is surrounded by picturesque bodies of water such as Lake Shinji, Nakaumi, and the Ohashi River. The city offers a unique blend of nature and culture, featuring historic landmarks like Matsue Castle and the scenic Horikawa River canals.
As part of the conference, participants will have the opportunity to join an excursion to Izumo Taisya Shrine, one of the oldest and most important Shinto shrines in Japan, known as the sacred place of enmusubi (the binding of fates or relationships), including lunch in local winery, and a sympozium dinner at Matsue Vogel Park, a botanical and bird-themed park located within the city. The park allows visitors to interact with seasonal flowers and exotic birds year-round, and enjoy entertaining events such as penguin walks and owl shows.
Access to Matsue is convenient. From Tokyo (Haneda Airport), you can fly to either Izumo Enmusubi Airport or Yonago Kitaro Airport. From Izumo, it takes about 35 minutes by airport shuttle bus to reach central Matsue, and from Yonago, about 45 minutes. There are also various transportation options from the Osaka area, including domestic flights, Shinkansen express, and express buses (Please see Access to Matsue on this website).

History of APSORC
The APSORC was founded by Prof. Kishikawa and the first symposium was held in 1997 in Kumamoto, Japan. Subsequent symposia were hosted in Fukuoka, Japan (2001), Beijing, China (2005), Napa Valley, USA (2009), Kanazawa, Japan (2013), and Jeju, Korea (2017).
