About the presentation of junior high & high school students
- In this session, junior high and high school students share presentations on studies they conducted themselves.
- The main of this session is an online meeting scheduled for the afternoon of November 30, 2024.
- In addition to the online meeting, students may share their presentations in poster sessions during on-site meetings.
- Presentations shared in the online meeting are the candidates for presentation awards.

◎Online meeting
- Time and Date: 14:00, on Friday, November 30, 2024
- Venue: Zoom (online meeting application)
◎Poster session
- Time and Date: December 2 and 3, 2024
- Venue: Conference rooms (rooms 101+102), Tsukuba International Congress Center
Registration
- Go to Registration Form (Google Forms) and complete it.
- Abstract submission period: September 1, 2024 (Sun) 00:00 - September 30, 2024 (Mon) 23:59.
- The following information is needed for registration.
- Presentation title - Author names - Affiliations - Abstract (up to 250 words in English or up to 400 letters in Japanese) |

Participation fee
Free for junior high and high school students and teachers who lead students. These people may participate in both the online meeting and the on-site meeting at the Tsukuba International Congress Center for free.
Preparation for online presentation
◎Presentation slides
- Please prepare presentation slides (PowerPoint, PDF, etc) for the online meeting. Although there is no limitation for slide number, presentation time would be ~10 minutes per presentation.
- The authors should organize Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion in their slides briefly.
- We will announce details (presentation time, etc) to the author ( or contact person of each school) in the middle of October.
- The submission deadline for presentation slides will be November 23, 2024 (a week before the online meeting).
Note:
- Only presentations shared in the online meeting are the candidates of presentation awards.
- Zoom will be used for the online meeting. Authors should prepare computers and internet connections by themselves. We recommend installing the latest version of the Zoom app and test your camera and microphone.
- Members of the eDNA society will be allowed to participate in the online meeting, and some non-members will also be invited to the online meeting.
Preparation for poster presentation
◎Poster
- In addition to the online meeting, authors may share presentations in poster sessions (December 2 and 3) at the Tsukuba International Congress Center.
- The size of a poster must be up to 210 cm in height and 90 cm in width.
- The title and content of the poster must be the same as a presentation in the online meeting.
◎Put up the poster at the venue
- If you find it difficult to participate in the on-site meeting, you can send your poster. We can put up the poster on your poster board. If you send your poster, the poster must be printed on an A0-sized paper.
- Please contact us before you send your poster.
- We cannot pay postage costs.
