Public Symposium “New Insights from Environmental DNA Analysis to Control Invasive Alien Species”
The National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) has been working to develop and disseminate technologies for the control of invasive alien species. This symposium will focus in particular on methods for detecting and assessing invasive alien species using environmental DNA analysis, and will also discuss in depth the latest results of related research and progress in technological development for a wide range of alien species that are problematic in agricultural ecosystems. By doing so, we aim to promote further development and dissemination of environmental DNA analysis technology through collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and others. We hope to involve many parties who are highly interested in environmental DNA analysis technology, and together, we will explore the potential for technological advancement and applications. We sincerely look forward to your participation.
