In recent years, a wide variety of quantum materials, including two-dimensional materials and topological materials, have attracted considerable attention because of their potential for next-generation electronic devices. This symposium will present recent advances spanning materials synthesis, structural control, device applications, and the understanding of physical properties, while providing an accessible discussion of the opportunities and future prospects of next-generation electronics.
