In the academic year 2022, the National Institute of Technology, Nagano College, underwent a restructuring from the traditional five-department system to a single-department system. Following this reorganization, the curriculum has been characterized by its emphasis on fostering interdisciplinary skills. Therefore, this report presents the approach and validation results of 'Introduction to Engineering Design' aimed at enhancing interdisciplinary capabilities.
