To practice TBL (Team-based Learning) that encourages thorough critical thinking through cross-disciplinary learning, we set SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), which have attracted much attention in society, as the theme and utilized the research of the students’ departments related to their future in the class. Based on the ARCS model, we designed a course for first-year students that can enhance their independence and motivation for learning by stimulating their interests.
